DS90UB948-Q1: SOC can't read 948's I2C address

Dear team,

The link is SOC--983--948--display. When the customer connect 948 to 983, 983's 0x08 register doesn't display 948's address. And then we read 983's 0x0c, and we found bit 6/RX_LOCK_DET=0. In my understanding, the lock status should be 1 once 948 connects to 983 even though 983 has no register configuration, right?
