TVP5150AM1: NTSC to BT656

From what I see in the D/S it would work for this use case, yes: TVP5150AM1 decoder converts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video signals to 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 format.

I don't know of a better solution.

As stated on the product folder, there is no design support for this device, so the customer will be responsible to taking our existing collateral and doing the design with no additional support from TI.
