MAX3232-EP: Spice Models for MAX3232-EP and SN55HVD233-EP

Hi Team,

I'm working with an engineer that is looking for spice models for the MAX3232-EP and SN55HVD233-EP. 

I didn't see any on the product folders or the catalog versions of the same device.

Can you confirm whether or not there are spice models for these devices? Assuming there aren't any available, are there any close spice models the engineer can use?

    JP,

    Unfortunately we don't have PSpice models for the majority of our portfolio. As a group we are working on a long-term plan for developing PSpice models. However, for most of our devices we do have IBIS models which model the I/V characteristics of pins and the input/output buffer behavior. 

    The SN65HVD233 has an IBIS model available, but the MAX3232 does not. And IBIS models can't be easily applied to the Spice environment unfortunately, if at all. 

    If there's any other way we can assist the customer let us know, but we do not have PSpice models for these devices.
