I am using TMDS181RGZT HDMI driver for HDMI input interface to support 1080p,60fps. I have completed the layout design and did the SI analysis for my board. Attached are the results of insertion and return loss before and after the redriver IC. After the redriver IC the obtained results for return loss is around -10dB and obtained results of insertion loss is -4dB which is very poor. Before the redriver IC the obtained results are in better state. Can anything be done in redriver settings to improve the insertion and return loss2437.SI_analysis_for HDMI_In.pdf. Are the obtained results valid as per HDMI specification.
