TPS65987D: 100 Watt configuration for USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM

Part Number: TPS65987D

Dear Team

Would you please provide me a WORKING configuration project for USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM board to provide 100 W (5 A at 20 V) on its source part?

I am using the Application Customization Tool version 6.1.2 with the USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM to deliver power to a Surface Book device which has the ability to sink 95 W power.

I used three different brands of 100 W (20V, 5A) USB-C cables, but I can not pass 3 A at 20 V.

I am advertising 5A, 20V with peak current at 130%. The power due mode is also enabled.

Would you please test the 100 W configuration at your end first? (With load not only protocol status)

(My goal is to source 100 W on my custom designed board which at the moment I can't pass 60 W power delivery (neither on USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM board). If I have a working 100 W configuration for USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM, then I can configure my board)

(I don't have PD analyzer from Total Phase)

Regards,

Majid
