TDP158: HDMI 2.0 setup

Hello Sir:

We want to setup TDP158 for HDMI 2.0 interface.

And we setup address 0Bh to 5B, 0Ch to 60 and 0Dh to 78.

Can you remind us if using on HDMI 2.0 which address value should be modified too?

Please help to provide your recommendations for us.

Hi,

Please refer to this app note, https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slla467/slla467.pdf.

You don't have to force set register 0x0B since the DP158 will snoop the DDC bus and set the TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO_STATUS bit based on the snooping. If you set TERM bits to follow the TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO_STATUS bit, the TERM bits will also be set correctly.
