TPS65987D: I2C1 address only settable to one value

TPS65987D support,

Our customer is seeing that the I2C1 port will only be accessible with he sets the resistor divider to 0.5 (section 8.3.12.5 of datasheet). So I2C_ADDR_DECODE must be 0x010 and the address works out to 0x22 (7 bit). He has tried various resistor settings, including eventually putting a pot on the voltage divider. The only time it worked is when the voltage level of the pin was 1.294V and 1.892V.

Can you confirm that other addresses should work for I2C1?

Any suggestions on what might be going wrong here?

Does the TPS65987D sample the ADCIN2 pin on boot or when HRESET is released?

The customer figured out the problem. The I2C setting in the configuration tool must match the ADCIN2 voltage divider setting. Because of some unique aspects of the customer's design, these didn't match.

Customer is correct, it should match the ADCIN2 divider setting. EVM had dip switches can give you a sense of dividers that can be used. Seems like there is a follow up issue to this one. I will close this ticket and follow up on the other.
