Our product have two TLK110 PHY ,We want to realize dynamic change the connection as one PHY when user change the ethernet connection to another one .

I am not clear about the requirement here. Can you explain the requirement a little more? What do you mean by dynamic change?

ok, maybe the expression is not correctly ,let me explainit, for example,if the eth0 connection is broken,user can change to eth1 connection.

and also user can both use eth0 and eth1 ,if user want to use them as a switch .

Hello Jay,

Link indication is provided by register 0x0001's link status bit. This bit will become 0 when link goes down. This bit can be used by the switch/controller firmware to decide if other PHY has to be used in case of link-loss scenario.

Hi Vikram,

The register 0x0001is just a Link indication, but if we want use both PHY at the same time, how to configure it . just like a switch ,because you konw many times people don't want to use a separate switch in order to reduce the Wiring cost.

Hello Jay,

Kindly explain the requirement with block diagram, signal path and how switching is desired.

You will need a controller to read the link status and take the required decision on which PHY to use for data.
