TMUXHS4212: What will be Propagation delay at 12Gbps data rate of TMUXHS4212 internal switch/body ?

Hi Sir,

We are using TMUXHS4212 in our HDMI 2.1 interface and as per HDMI 2.1 standard, it will work up to 12Gbps datarate.

During net length matching and max track length calculation, we required propagation delay value at 12Gbps. In datasheet, it is mention at 1Gbps only.

Can you please let me know propagation delay value at 12Gbps? as well as can we swap P&N polarity in mux?

TMUXHS4212 can not support HDMI due to common mode voltage .

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your quick response. Can we use any external components to set common mode?

Or can you please suggest any alternate part which can support 12Gbps HDMI interface?

Hi Brian,

We will use AC coupling capacitors to remove common-mode voltage issues.

Meanwhile can you please let us know propagation delay value at 12Gbps? as well as interpair and intrapair skew values at 12Gbps?

You do can use external bias to set common mode, but we don't have skew and delay data at 12Gbps.
