My customer has a problem with the TS3DV642 application and would like to confirm it.

1. At present, there is an RFQ requirement to have the function of HDMI IN and HDMI OUT. At present, I want to use TS3DV642 to switch. Is it OK?

The preliminary Block Diagram is shown below for your reference.

2. Excuse me, do I need to add HDMI Level Shifter to the HDMI IN and OUT parts?

Hi,

If the SOC DDI port is a DP++ port, then you do need a level shifter such as the DP159 to shift from DP++ to HDMI.

The SOC DDI port does not support DP++, but the customer's schematic diagram includes PTN3360D HDMI / DVI Level Shifter. Is this necessary? Or the use of TS3DV642 you can not put Level Shifter

If the PTN3360D already provide the level shifter function, you can directly connect the PTN3360D output to TS3DV642.
