TCAN1145-Q1: Any devices to support CAN-FD WUF?

Hi Team,

From the following link, it is confirmed that WUF of TCAN1145 must be a standard CAN frame.

my question is do we have any devices to support CAN-FD Frame remote wake up?

    Hi Lijia,

    No, there are no TI devices that support remote wake on CAN-FD frames. It is my understanding that this feature is not available in any device currently on the market as this behavior is not defined in the selective wake definition of the CAN standard. I don't expect that this behavior will be developed as it adds significant complexity to the transceiver without a direct benefit to the selective wake feature. 

    If this request is coming from a customer based on an end-requirement, I would encourage the customer to push-back on this requirement as the behavior is not defined and would not provide direct benefit to the selective wake feature.
