XIO2001: Can WAKE pin be left open?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is drawing their new product schematic and they are going to use XIO2001 for the product.

They have a question about XIO2001 as the below.

Could you please give me your reply?

Q. We don't use WAKE pin signal.

If WAKE signal is not used, can WAKE pin be left open because the pin is open drain output?

A pull up is required to negate this signal.

Greetings,

10K Ohm is fine. This provides plenty of margin with 4mA sink capability of this signal.
