Hi Team,

My customer is designing USB PD application with TPS65987D and I would like to ask about TPS6598x configuration tool.
How to decide if we should add check or not for the following three items?
I believe USB Capable indicate using USB communication or not however I would like to confirm the detail of these items.

Hi Yaita,

Yes, that is correct, USB capable should be enabled if the customer's application supports this. These settings are to meet the PD specification, therefore the fields are described in detail in the USB-IF PD Specification document. The Unchunked Ext. Msg is found in section 6.4.2.6.
