TUSB2046B without EEPROM in Linux Environment

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2046B

Hello!

I am also use the TUSB2046B IC. Have You an utility program for programming VIS & PID in EEPROM via USB port?

Without VID & PID Linux  OS can't finisht loading when device is connecting.

Thanks at any case.

  • Sergey,

The EEPROM with VID/PID only enables custom identification of the USB hub.  The TUSB2046B should be recognized as a standard USB hub by the Linux kernel?

Can you explain in more detail what you are seeing and why you think it is the hub without an EEPROM that is causing the issue?

Specific to your question - we do not have a utility to program EEPROMs.

  • Hello, Dan,
