My customer is considering to use the TCA9800. Could you advise to the question below?
The pin assignment of the TCA9800 is as follows from d/s.
SCL-->2pin, 7pin (SCLA, SCLB)
SDA-->3pin, 6pin (SDAA, SDAB)
However, from the internal block diagram on p.11 in the d/s, it seems that the two blocks (between 2pin and 7pin, between 3pin and 6pin) are the same circuit block. Therefore, is it OK to input SDA to pins 2 and 7, and SCL to pins 3 and 6?
