I2C BUFFER FOR CABLE COMMUNICATION

Hi,

      We are planning to use buffer for I2C cable (20cm) long communication from master(400KHz) to slave(400KHz) on both sides.

      It"s a battery operating device. Could you please suggest to me the right buffer part number?

    Hi Pandi,

    What Vcc are you planning to use?

    Do you need level translation support?

    Do you have control over the design of the boards for both the transmission side and the receiver side? 

    How many other I2C devices are on each board? (I want to know this to verify the loading capacitance since each I2C device is roughly 10pF of cap)
