Hi Team,
My customer would like to put ESD device on CANH & CANL, is there any recommended rating for the ESD device?
If they use ESD device with 3.3V rating, will it be too low?

Charles,
For the rating, do you mean the reverse breakdown? If so, 3.3V will be much too low. A typical recommendation we make for TVS diodes is the Nexperia PESD1CAN or PESD2CAN diode. For more information on how to properly pick a TVS diode, I'd recommend reading this document.

Hi Eric,
Both these 2 recommended ESD devices have 24V-VRWM rating, which is the same as TCAN4550's Vsup's recommended maximum value, is there a correlation between ESD's VRWM and IC's Vsup? Thanks.
