Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83869, DP83TC811
Hello,
does the customer has to change anything in the SW driver if he plans to migrate from DP83869 to SPE DP83TC811. Is SPE only a HW change?
Regards, Holger

Hi Holger,
May I ask why you are making this migration? The supported speeds are not the same.
Kind Regards,
Joe

Hi Holger,

Hello Joe,
ok, I understand that another SW driver is needed.
Btw, I only found Linux driver, what about if customer don't want to use Linux (RTOS or non-RTOS)?
Regards, Holger
Hi Holger,
Typically, other customers use the Linux driver as a reference and then build their own driver.
Kind Regards,
Joe
