DS90UB941AS-Q1: Send pattern for DS90UB948-Q1, only has CLK out signal and has no DATA out

Hello Sir:

We are using DS90UB941AS-Q1 EVM to connect with our PCBA which has DS90UB948-Q1 on the board.

But we only use single channel for DS90UB948-Q1, please refer the block diagram as below.

We only use DOUT0, and D1~D3.

Also please refer our DS90UB941AS-Q1 EVM configuration as below.

In this combination, we only get CLK out from DS90UB948-Q1, and there were no DATA out from DS90UB948-Q1.

Can you teach us how to configure DS90UB941AS-Q1 EVM and DS90UB948-Q1? 

We need to let DS90UB948-Q1 has data out.

Please help to provide your recommendations.

    Hello Statham,

    Do you have an external DSI source connected to the 941AS providing video? Because in the setup above it looks like you are trying to generate a PATGEN using the external video timing provided by the DSI input. If you do not have a DSI input and wish to generate a video pattern internally, then in the "Timing Source" drop down, select "Internal" can then configure the PCLK and video timing in the boxes on the right side of that page.

    Hi Casey:

    Thanks a lot your recommendations, we can see the data out signals.

    But there has new question, we setup parameters and follow the timing of our panel spec.

    But the panel shows abnormal screen.

    Can you teach us how to fine tune it?

    By the way can you add my in your friends? I need to send panel datasheet for you.

    Hello Statham,

    I sent you a friend request on E2E so you can message me the panel datasheet. For the 948, can you confirm if you have strapped the device for Single OLDI mode?
