Hello team,

I have received a replacement question from my customer about the USB PD controller TPS65987D.

My customer is searching for a PD controller which could be a replacement of the TPS65987D because of supply issue.

Could you recommend us if there are proper device that meets system requirements listed below?

As far as I searched, I couldn't find a device that could fulfill both USB3.2 and DP1.4. I would like to confirm just in case.

Unfortunately we do not offer a suitable replacement with that same feature set.

Have you reached out to the product marketing team or planner to see what can be done to support your customer?

Chuck,

Thank you for the confirmation.

For this device, it seems difficult to avoid supply difficulties with a replacement device.

I will think about asking for their support too, considering the size and revenue of the project.
