SN75LVDS83 interface with processor

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LVDS83hi, in my project i want to interface the lvds transmitter "SN75LVDS83" with processor. the application circuit in the datasheet, there is no pullup resistors for the data lines but in the evaluation module schematic there is a pullup resisotrs of 4.7k. my Question is, is this 4.7k pullup resistor is need in the actual design? and also the value of pullup/pulldown for the CLKSEL pin.
  • Hello Abilash, the 4.7k resistors on the parallel input data lines are not to be used in the actual design.  Their purpose in the evaluation module is to make it possible to manually control the parallel inputs without attaching to a processor, by either jumpering each input to GND or letting it get pulled up to Vdd.

As for what value to use for CLKSEL, a 4.7k or 10k should be fine.

    Thanks,
