TUSB8041: Let me know how to externally entering programming mode.

Hi TI experts,

We are using the external EEPROM. if we are incorrectly programmed EEPROM, we want to rewrite data.

The user guide contains the following statements: (TUSB8040 EEPROM programming)

"Refer to the TUSB8040 datasheet for instructions on externally entering programming mode."

But we can't find externally entering programming mode in the datasheet.

Could you tell me how to externally entering programming mode?

Hi Downey,

You should be able to force load the driver on the hub if it still connects at USB 2.0. I can send instructions on this if needed.

Is the EEPROM corrupted?

Is this a TUSB8041 or TUSB8040 device?

Hi JMMN,

Thank you for your support.

We want to re-write the correct value when the value of VID/PID is incorrect.

The device name is TUSB4041.

Please let me know how to force load.
