SN75DP159: I2C signals pin capacitance

Hi,

I am using HDMI redriver IC SN75DP159 devices on my board. I will be using single I2C bus to control 17 other slave devices. I am not sure whether the total bus capacitance will exceed 400pF or not. May I know the pin capacitance of I2C data and clock line of SN75dp159 IC. So that I can calculate the maximum bus capacitance.

Hi,

Please refer to section 7.8 AUX, DDC, and I 2C Electrical Characteristics, Ttotal capacitive load for each bus line max is 400pF.

Hi David,

The I2C can have maximum bus capacitance of 400pF. But what is the line capacitance of SDA and SCL control pins. I will be using 1 I2C bus to connect 16 different slaves and SN75DP159 is one of them. So 400pF is the maximum bus capacitance. Please let me know the line capacitance so that I can calculate what will be the maximum bus capacitance for my I2C bus

Can you please confirm whether HDMI CEC is open drain signal or not

No, you can leave CEC_EN as NC if not used.
