Hi team

I would like to ask that does 949 and 940 support such block diagram?

In another way to say, I have known that 949 HDMI and 940 MIPI CSI-2 both could support YuV data format, while YuV data format has different bits of data like 8bit or 12 bit and so on. So I would like to know does 949 and 940 both could support YuV all bits of data type? Thank you.

Hi,

The UB940 can output YUV422-8bit, however the input must be RGB. Because of this, the 949 can not have the YUV input as you have in this image.

I see in 940 datasheet there could be a register we can modify the 940 input right? How to understand this, if we configure IFMT bit[3:2] 0x01 or 0x10, could it be Yuv data format input to 940?

Hi,

Yes you can modify the 940 input to YUV422 8-bit or YUV444 8-bit. If you want to convert to YUV output from another input format, it must be from RGB.
