PCA9306: translating GPIO signals

Hi Team,

we plan to use PCA9306 for level translation 1.8V to 5V for two GPIO signals in the 10KHz range coming from an encoder. According to the datasheet it should be possible. Just wanted to double check if we are missing anything and if there was something implemented specific to I2C that we need to watch out for. The requirements for the 200kOhm resistor are being followed.

This will work. The outputs are open drain, so you need pullups.

The SN74LVC2T45 would be simpler and cheaper.
