Hi all

My customer has a design with the SN65LVDS822.

Because of the constrained market they are looking for a potential replacement option.

Is there a similar device the customer could look at ?

    We control an LCD display 480x800 Pixel with a parallel RGB interface (18Bit, 6-red 6-green 6-blue). From the CPU-Board the display control signal are LVDS. With the TI SN65LVDS822 LVDS deserializer we get back the parallel RGB signals. The display clock (pixel clock) frequency is around 30MHz.

    Hello Ueli,

    Based on the information you provided, we suggest you consider the following devices for replacement:

    1. DS90CR286AT-Q1 --- 3.3 V Rising Edge Data Strobe LVDS Receiver 28-Bit Chan Link 66 MHz

    2. DS90CR286A-Q1 --- +3.3V Rising Edge Data Strobe LVDS 28-Bit Automotive Channel Link Receiver - 66 MHz

    3. SN65LVDS86A-Q1 --- Automotive catalog FlatLink receiver (maybe you'd prefer number 1 and 2 more).

    I believe all these devices are available to buy from distributors, if they are not in stock on ti.com.
