Hello,

We are considering designing in the DS90UB954TRGZRQ1 and its companion IC. In the datasheet the frames rates of 2MP with 60FPS and 4MP with 30FPS are cited. Does this mean that we can run at 1MP with 120FPS?

Hello Vlad,

The DS90UB954-Q1 devices does not care at all what frame rate or video resolution is used or even the data format. The video only needs to meet the criteria of the maximum CSI-2 BW which can be carried over the cable. When paired with DS90UB953-Q1 for example, the maximum allowable CSI-2 BW from the sensor is 832Mbps/lane over 4 lanes. So if your 120Hz/1MP image can meet this criteria from the sensor side, then it can be supported.
