DS90UB962-Q1: Occasional Lock fail issue

Part Number: DS90UB962-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ALP

Dear expert,

My system is UB962<->UB935. There are four working UB962 board(not TI EVM) in my lab. Three works fine. One UB962 has 20% chance fail to lock with UB935 even after 1500ms waiting time. All 4 port of this "bad" UB962 can reduplicate the issue. After re_soldering this "bad" UB963 to a new board, the phenomenon go with this "bad" UB963.

UB962 register for AEQ from 0xD2 to 0xD5 are in default value.

I think silicon failure shouldn't be in so high ratio. Any recommendation you can give me to investigate?
