DS90UB960-Q1: Layout recommendation question

Yes this is noted in the layout guidelines in the 960 datasheet. But ultimately this is a best practice that has some dependency on the stackup and material selection. For the most accurate analysis, we would recommend the customer to do an RF simulation on their layout using an EM solver like Ansys in order to estimate the IL and RL plus TDR of the high speed trace before going to fabrication in order to compare against our high speed layout guidelines.
