Could you tell me what condition sets XGMII_ERR_INT?

2.
If it is set, what kind of behavior/problems occur in DP83867IR?

3.
If it is set, what should the user do except for clearing this bit by reading this resister?

Hello Sreenivasa,

They saw this error when they imposed a noise on the ethernet cable on purpose.
After imposing the noise, it can't establish link-up until unplugging and plugging the cable.

When this XGMII_ERR_INT is set in this situation, does the device have to be reset?

2.
From the E2E you mentioned, this error occurs when the RGMIIFIFO was overflowed.
Is this FIFO used for FLP burst and generating idling signal?

Can is assume customer is testing for 61000-4-4 EFT ?

Do you have the schematics for review.

Regarding the XGMII_ERR_INT - i do not see the need to reset but this depends on how much the device gets affected by the noise.

Sorry for my late response. Thanks for your reply.
I'm asking the test and schematic now.

The reason that they are asking is that they just found XGMII_ERR_INT was set when the issue, not linkup after imposing the noise, happened.
Is there anything to check to know what happened in this device?

This indicated either TX or RX MAC interface overflow.
