PCA9306: switch configuration with partial power down?

Hi Team,

PCA9306 can be used in switch configuration. Vref1 and VREF2 shall be 3,3V each and the EN signal would be used to connect / disconnect.

Is it possible when the two busses are disconnected (EN low) to power off one side e.g. Vref2 without leakage currents say through the pull up resistors or other pats of the unpowered circuit?

In case this possible would the off- power side supply have to be High Z or does it need to connect to GND (0V) ?

When EN is at 0 V, all I/O and VREF pins are high impedance, and do not leak from applied voltages.

just to be sure with EN=0V we can turn of the VREF (supply) on one side? Which side would be the preferred? Vref2?

This device is perfectly symmetrical. It does not matter which one is side 1 and side 2. (In the non-switch configuration, it matters only that the EN pin is connected to the higher VREF pin.)
