Hi Team,

My customer application is 933+ 954 , They want to confirm Transmission distance of the FPD-LINK . If the transmission distance is 55 meters, do they need to add buffer chip?

    953 + 953 performance depends on how much attenuation the signal sees in the transmission path and what the frequency of the signal is. So what needs to be known is not the distance but the bfollowing:

    1. What is the data rate that 953-954 is being operated at? Specifically is it 2.4Gbps or 4.2Gbps

    2. How much loss in dB does this transmission channel show at Nyquist? Nyqust frequency is half of data rate
