Hi
Do you have any concern to use 2 MUX(HD3SS6126) for USB3.0 signal?
I want to pass compliance test for red marker USB 3.0 standard A.
Thanks

Hao:
at 5Gbps, 7" trace loss is 3.5db, each MUX is 1.1db loss, so total loss on A will be 2x 3.5 +2x1.1=9.2db + connector loss. type-A Tx max spec is 10db loss. So it's very marginal.

Hi Brian
It seems no special concern via two mux, I will control trace length to meet loss spec.
Do I need to add AC CAP between two MUX. Please help to check AC CAP for TX and RX path.
Thanks

Hao:
There should be on AC cap 100nf on TX between connector and SOC ( include redriver) though MUX.
