Hi,
I am using EEPROM burner on TUSB3410. When I select *.bin file and click burn, it says "please select *.bin or *.i51 file" and it doesnt let me program the device. But that is what I am doing. What might me wrong?
The second question is that I want to use TUSB3410 with I2C function so that it can communicate with TMDS181. In order to run Eyescan tool, should I change USB descriptors too before burning? Or programming only I2C firmware(which you provided on TUSB page) is enough?
Thanks!
Can you share screenshot of the SW? There is no need to change the descriptors as the EyeScan SW looks for the TUSB3410 PID and VID.
I will upload screenshot tomorrow. But I can say that when I click burn, I get a pop up screen. The title says "invalid file extension". The content is "please select *.bin or *.i51 file". I select i2c binary files that is present on TUSB3410 page. For random binary files, it gives the same error.
I uploaded screenshots. I tried it with 2.5.0.0 and 2.2.0.0 versions of EEPROM Burner and it gives the same error.
.
Can you move the file to your C: drive? I am not able to reproduce this error message on my side. You can also try this file as well.
Looks like it stems from a security precaution of our office computers. I tested it on a normal computer and finally it worked. Thanks again,
