Hello support team,
We are considering using TPS25830 and TPS25831, so we have two questions about these ICs.
(1) Do these ICs support the MFi OCP spec?
You said they can support it in a previous thread, but we're wondering if they can support 5V, 4.8A, 1ms because their high side current limit is a minimum of 4.6A.
(2) What are the benefits of using External MOSFETs?
We don't assume the VBUS to battery short, so we would like to know the benefits of overcurrent protection.
