Hi team,
My customer has a question about CPEN pin,
in the datasheet page 51, why the open drain mode need to add pull down resistor, if adding the pull down resistor to ground the voltage on CPEN pin should be 0V right?

CPEN_ODOS should be 1 and CPEN in CMOS mode. No need PU or PD.

Hi Brian,
What does the pull-down resistor on CPEN mean?
For open drain, if I need get the high, I use pull up resistor, why datasheet said it should be use pull down resistor?
when CPEN_Od is 1 , it's configured as PMOS . so a PD is needed.
When CPEN_Od is 0 , it's configured as NMOS . so a PU is needed.
when CPEN_ODOS is 1, It's configured as CMOS, no PU or PD needed.
