Dear all,

This is Chris. Recently, I am selecting a suitable part for my customer, but it is my first attempt on it. 

Therefore, I hope you can give me some suggestion on how to select a suitable part for IVI or ADAS.

And, I also hope you can give me some explanation on the difference between FPD Link for IVI and ADAS.

    Hi Chris,

    When looking for IVI/ADAS devices, you can select "FPD-Link camera SerDes" (ADAS) or "FPD-Link display SerDes" (IVI) on the FPD-Link overview page on ti.com.

    Some examples of IVI/ADAS devices:

    IVI:

    • DS90UB92x
    • DS90UB94x

    ADAS:

    • DS90UB93x
    • DS90UB95x

    To answer your question about the difference between IVI and ADAS FPD-Link, the main difference is what the device is interfacing with. For example, IVI devices generally interface with video processors to receive video data input, while ADAS devices interface with cameras/sensors to receive input data.
