Hi,

My customer is looking at this feature for the '926 and '948 DES.

The auto-scrolling feature though does not appear to be documented fully in the respective datasheets. I can see how it is enabled, but not how test patterns are selected for auto-scroll.

- I checked the App Note SNLA132G. This refers to 14 (or 16) of pattern generator time slots - which makes sense.

- Table 3-23. PGTSO1

However, I cannot find these registers in the '926 and '948 datasheets.  Have I missed something?

    Hello Ross,

    All the PATGEN related registers are listed in the SNLA132G app note, not the 948/926 datasheets 

    PGTSC selects the number of enabled time slots for the scrolling. For example if you set it to 0x03, then the scroll will rotate through 3 patterns

    PGTSOx selects the type of pattern for each time slot out of the list in section 2.4: Pattern Selection

    You can also see an example in section 4.1
