TSER953: Setup for extracting images from camera sensor + serializer

I have a camera sensor board with an OV2740 + TSER953 on it. The TSER954 side of things is currently in the process of being fabbed/assembled. In the meantime, I'm wondering if there is a quick and dirty way I can get images off the camera sensor board. Are there methods you have seen or done yourselves in the past? I was thinking of using a 954 EVM board, but would still need some quick way to take the MIPI signals from the J24 connector and produce an image. Any ideas welcome!

Hello Luis,

If you use a 954 EVM board, you will need a CSI-2 analyzer to view the signals on screen.

If you want to produce an image, you will need a deserializer and a display along with the right connectors.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the concept -- I guess my question was more specific. If I connect my board to the deserializer EVM, do you know of specific displays or analyzers that have connectors that work with the EVM to be able to grab images or signals, respectively?

Hi Luis,

You can use CSI2 analyzers like the SV3C DPRXCPRX Introspec CSI2 analyzer with the QSH to SMA adapters.

Or you can check out other CS12 analyzers from Keysight or Moving Pixel.
