I'm using this 2 port hub internally and want to use the default configuration.  I won't be programing through SMBUS or using an EEPROM for configuration.

What is the default configuration for Removable/Not Removable?

    Hi Mark,

    The hub defaults to removable ports.  That said, the main impact of setting the removable / no-removable settings is that it changes what the hub reports in its descriptors to the USB host, it doesn't change how the hub routes data or enumerates devices.
