AM26LV31: Lot Trace Code Information

Part Number: AM26LV31

Hello,

I am trying to decipher some LTC for AM26LV31 parts.

1. Is this infographic correct for deciphering  LTC? Does the Y distinguish between decades (1998 vs 2008 vs 2018) for example or is the entire LTC needed for the decade? If there is a better resource for this topic please let me know where to find it.

2. Can you confirm the parts were most likely manufactured at these times based on the LTC

2a. 81C336M => Manufactured in Jan 2008

2b. 84AHK5M => Manufactured in April 2008

3. Would the parts marked 81C336M in 3a and 3b be considered from the same lot?

3a.

3b.

4. I don't need more specific information on the LLLL portion, other than confirming that each LLLL is unique to a given lot.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Oleh,

    Let me work with our quality team to find more information about these lot trace codes. I can say that the document you're referencing is old and I'm not sure our lot trace codes adhere to that template anymore, but I may be wrong. We have an internal system where we can search by lot trace code and find out more information now.

  • Oleh,

    I'm assuming you don't have this anymore, but the datecode on the shipping label is going to be a more accurate resource in terms of determining the manufacturing year and week. Can you let us know where this material was purchased?

  • Hello Eric,

    We have some information suggesting that these parts were purchased through Arrow, but are still working to find the PO to confirm. I believe the shipping label is no longer available for reference.

  • Oleh,

    If that's the case, it'd be best to work with Arrow to find out more information. I tried to look those codes up in our system and wasn't having much luck in finding the dates they were manufactured.

  • Hello Eric,

    I understand that you are unable to look them up in your system and wont be able to comment officially on the 2nd question.

    From a process standpoint would you be able to answer question #3: where parts stamped with the 81C336M are from the same lot? Or a similar question, that the 81C336M and 84AHK5M are from different lots or could they potentially be the same?

    I understand if you are unable to further help without being able to look them up directly in the system. If that's the case please state so.

    Thanks for your help

  • Oleh,

    I can say for sure that the two different codes definitely mean the devices are from a different fabrication and assembly lot. For devices with the same code, they are from the same assembly lot, and I would assume the same fabrication lot. I can't be certain about the fabrication lot though. Sorry I can't be of more help here.
