XIO2001: Any setting of PCIe waveform improvement etc.

Hi,
My customer has two questions.

*1. We can see " Tj : Virtual junction temperature" on the datasheet P.16? What do you mean "virtual"? Please let us know.

*2. Does XIO2001 have any setting to improve PCIe waveform? Such as emphasis of PCIe output, adjustment of PCIe output amplitude , Equalizer of PCIe input etc. Please advise us.

1). I am checking on this question and will let you know.

2). This is PCIe Gen1 and there is no signal conditioning. REF0_PCIE pins are used to set the drive current of the TX driver. Please note part has been characterized using 14.532K 1% Resistor value.

Per JEDEC standard, virtual junction temperature represents the junction temperature on the basis of the simplified model of the thermal and electrical behavior of the device. Please note the following two references for more details:
