Devices like the TXS0102/TCA9406 actively drive the line high when they detect the beginning of a rising edge. The overshoot could falsely trigger such an accelerator.

To add, sometimes devices use the term 'one-shots' instead of the term rise time accelerators. In the system block diagram of these circuits, you will usually see the term one shot instead. Devices from the TI I2C portfolio with rise time accelerators (one shots) would be: TCA4307/TCA4311A/TCA9511A/TCA9406/TCA9416. As Clemen's pointed out, there are other generic devices in the TI portfolio with one shots like the TXS0102.

Hi Bobby,

If customer use the PCA9515A, then there is no rise-time accelerators in the device internal circuit. And we also don't use the external rise-time accelerators.

What's the example of external rise-time accelerators?

Example of external rise-time accelerators are: TCA4307/TCA4311A/TCA9511A/TCA9406/TCA9416 which include internal rise time accelerators in their design but are external to the PCA9515A.
