Hi Martin,

We are investigating this disconnect between driver and datasheet. As these registers are reserved in datasheet, you may comment out the writes to these registers in the firmware for now. I will update you as soon as I have more information.

Thank you for the Investigation.

As I wrote the DP83848T runs with the generic driver. But I realized, that we loose a lot of packages. (But this can also be related to the PCB/Hardware or the MAC)

Hi Nikhil,

We resolved a hardware Issue, we messed up with the RMII 50MHz Clock. 

So I've the PHY working with the  "Generic PHY" driver in Linux

Does TI recommend that, do you see any drawbacks?
