Andrew,
As a first pass check, can you try using a different browser? This will help us see if the issue is restricted to only Firefox or the TI Cloud Agent installation.
Also which OS (MacOS, Windows) are you using?
Andrew so this definitely sounds like a TI Cloud Agent installation issue. Which OS are you running?
See the following documentation for the list of supported Operating Systems:
https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ti_cloud_agent.html
Included on the page are a list of browser specific troubleshooting steps that can help get everything up and running. Try the listed steps and let me know if it's still prompting you.
I am running Windows 10. I have reviewed that page and did not find anything that helped. Only thing I am unsure about is the proxy settings.
What permissions do you have with your account? Does you account have the permissions to install the agent with admin permissions?
Thanks
ki
The same account that will use cloud agent need to be the one that installs it. To install it, the account needs to have elevated (admin) permissions. Is this the case for you account?
They issue is more that the user account that will be using TI cloud agent needs to be able to install it with elevated admin permissions. In some environments, temporary elevation of permissions to the account can be given to install it. Once installed, you can use cloud agent with just user permissions. Is this possible in your environment?
Would it be possible for an admin to install some drivers on your machine (using whatever admin account), which can then be used by any non-admin account (like yours)?
