These 2 DP83TD510E-EVM board are default configuration, my main problem is communication between these  boards (4 actually , the 510E EVM has 2 plugged boards, I need 4 boards to communicate with 2 PC/Eth analyzer RJ45 on a single twisted pair) . 

Do I need to configure  one 510E EVM board on master mode and the other on slave mode ? 

If yes : do I need to change resistors & strap on  1 board ? I will prefer if possible to use software to modify Master/Slave conf on one 510E. 

If I used SW solution (as describe in the user guide snlu271A ) I do  need the driver for MSP430 but when I download the driver and install it, Win7 do not recognize the board, Driver not correct. Name between .inf file and board name are diffrent.

It's OK to use the USB2 MDIo  software but without the correct  driver the USB sw didn’t get any connexion to the 510e board : message : “cannot contact the board”. Have you got another driver for this 510e board ?

 Hi Nikhil, R24 is on board

I still do not communicate with the board on USB link (external power (8v) + USB power are on) because of the driver does not match the hardware. Win7 said "can't find any driver on the machine"

Hi Fab,

Is R24 currently 33 ohms? We should replace this with a 0ohm resistor to ensure a clean USB GND before communicating via MDC/MDIO. This is an assembly issue that will be taken care of in the next revision of the board.
