TPS65988: About Pulled down 5.1kohm resistance for CC pin

Hi Team,

I have two questions.

[Q1]

Our system’s power is VBUS only.

If no power of TPS65988DHRSHR (so VBUS is non-active),

can “Pulled down 5.1kohm resistance for CC pin” be maintained?

[Q2]

Could you please let us know active timing of pulled down 5.1kohm?

(For example, “After power-on reset (POR)” , “After configuration from CPU” etc.)

[A1] Yes the TPS65988DH supports dead battery mode and will provide pulldowns even if power is not supplied

[A2] The Dead Battery pulldowns are always presented, so there is not POR issue or configuration time on their application. They may changes after POR because they are configurable to other settings via the configuration parameters.
