Hi team,
If connecting one TC1 PHY with another TC10 PHY, can the TC10 PHY still work well to meet TC10 compliant?
Thanks.
Johnny

Hi Johnny,
Apologies for the delay. TC1 refers to the Open Alliance Compliance standard for 100Mbps communication. TC10 is a smaller standard that refers to a specific sleep/wake mode functionality. Any TC1 PHY can communicate to another TC1 compliant PHY. However, both PHY's must support TC10 to use the TC10 functionality.
Thank you,
Nikhil

Hi Nikhil,
So TC1 PHY connect to TC10 PHY, normal transceiver function is good, but we do not suggest the PHY pair work in low power mode, right?
Thanks.
