Hi TI team，

Is there any recommended universal USB3.1 Hub chip model and corresponding evaluation kit that meets the following selection requirements and has been mass-produced? Currently TUSB8044A is initially selected. Please help to confirm whether the universal part number is available?

The selection requirements are as follows:

1.USB3.2 x1 Gen1(5 Gbps)hub。

2.USB3.1 Hub 1出4。

3.upstream支持SS/HS USB。downstream支持SS/HS/FS/LS USB。

4.工业级。

5.成本较低。

Hi Ken,

The TUSB8044AI, TUSB8043AI, or TUSB8042AI would meet these requirements. The TUSB8042A is a standard 4 port hub, the TUSB8043A is a 4 port hub plus HID endpoint, and the TUSB8044A is a 4 port hub plus HID endpoint and Billboard.

What is meant by "universal part number'?
