Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB8020B
Hi,
In one of our applications, we use TUSB9261 as an onboard USB 3.0 to SATA converter to integrate an onboard SSD.
SSD is: Samsung EVO 860 which runs on SATA III, and has an M.2 form-factor.
The following image will give you an overview of internal circuitry :
So the flow is Jetson nano > TUSB8020 > TUSB9261 > SATA connector.
As the NANO is a Linux platform and the burner requires a windows system
and also we don't have a dedicated USB connector to program the TUSB9261, can you please suggest what we can do in this scenario?
As per my understanding, we can do the following two options which are mentioned in red in the picture:
1) Option A : If TUSB9261 requires USB 2.0 interface for programming and do not require the Superspeed lines, it would be green for us, as we can put 4 test holes and can do the programming by POGO pins.
2) Option B : If it requires a USB 3.0 specs, then can we put a Type C in between the HUB and SATA bridge for the programming purpose.
Your early response is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
MS
